What to Expect

When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic, you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Northside Pet Hospital in Eau Claire WI have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible health care for your pet. Once a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, and may include teeth and gum cleaning if needed. Dr. Menard will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to Northside Pet Hospital for service.

Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Dr. Menard can still work with whatever information you have. 

In some circumstances, Dr. Menard will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.

We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), Apple Pay, checks (with a valid Wisconsin driver's license), and cash. All payments made with a credit card will have a 3% surcharge applied at check out. This will not be reflected on estimates given in the exam room.

Cherry Payment Plans- Cherry Payment Plans are a "buy now, pay later" service that can be used for all your veterinary care needs. This service allows clients to split costs up into manageable monthly installments. There is no minimum spending requirement and applying will not affect your credit score. CareCredit- CareCredit is a credit card that can be used for all veterinary care needs with special financing for 6 months on purchases of $200 or more made with your CareCredit card. This card empowers you to be financially prepared for the lifetime of care your cherished companions need to stay healthy and happy. Pet Insurance- Pet insurance is a policy purchased by a pet owner to offset the overall cost of their pet's medical bills. Pet insurances can be used along with any of the other payment options listed above, however, full payment is due at time of service. After your visit, you will file a claim with your pet insurance company who will then reach out to our office for further information. Your pet insurance will then reimburse you after your claim has been approved.
